Monday, March 29th, 2010

The Polar s725x is one of the latest cycling heart rate monitors to come from Polar. It comes hot on the heels of the successful Polar s626x monitor. The maker Polar has been in the heart monitor industry for over thirty years and knows a thing or two about heart monitor technology and quality. They have stayed ahead in terms of market shares over rivals such as Garmin, Nike, Suunto and Timex. If you are looking for a stylish design with innovative features and functions in a heart watch, look no further than a Polar heart monitor. The following is a short review on the Polar s725x.

Training Features and Functions of the s725x Polar Heart Monitor

In simple terms, this Polar heart rate monitor is a powerful cycling computer with innovative features and functions such as a heart rate monitor to help maximize a person’s workout or training session. It has the ability to measure distance and speed and also give training and outdoor conditions such as temperature and altitude. These are all very important to professional athletes who rely on training tools such as the Polar s725x to help them reach their training goals.

This Polar Heart Monitor also has infrared capabilities. This allows the user to send training and exercise data wirelessly to a PC for further analysis. Unlike other monitors, the s725x is also able to connect to cell phones such as the Nokia 5140 and 5140i. Heart beats or rate is displayed in beats per minute and can also be shown in maximum percentages. It can also give average heart beats and rate plus the duration of exercise sessions. One of the biggest advantages for the Polar s725x cycling heart monitor is that it has the ability to have two bicycle wheel bases entered in. With this feature, the user is not limited to training on one bike only.

More Features and Functions

This Polar Heart Rate monitor also comes with a wide screen display for easy reading and a split screen option with back lighting for those times when light is not good enough. It also comes with a 24 hour clock with a week and day display, a stop watch which is a really handy feature and is water resistant to 100 feet or 30 meters.

Overall, the Polar s725x heart monitor is one of the best cycling monitors out there. Polar has really outdone themselves with this release. If you are searching for an ideal heart monitor to help you in your workouts, do consider the Polar s725x. You would not be disappointed.
